Course Careers (course.careers) is a course review and comparison website. We respect your privacy and are committed to transparency about the minimal data we process.
Information We Collect
Automatically Collected
- Analytics data: Pages visited, courses viewed, and general usage patterns. This is collected via Cloudflare Zaraz (a privacy-focused analytics proxy). Your IP address is anonymised before reaching any analytics provider.
- Security data: Cloudflare, our hosting provider, processes IP addresses and request headers for security, DDoS protection, and performance optimisation.
Information You May Provide
- Contact submissions: If you contact us via email, we receive your name, email address, and message content.
We do not: require user accounts, collect passwords, store personal profiles, use tracking pixels, or set analytics cookies.
How We Use Your Information
- Analytics: Understand how our platform is used and improve content (anonymised, no personal identification).
- Security: Protect against fraud, abuse, and unauthorised access.
- Affiliate services: When you click through to course providers, we may earn a commission. No personal data is shared — only a referral click is registered.

We do not set analytics cookies. Google Analytics runs through Cloudflare Zaraz in a cookieless configuration.
Data Retention
- Analytics: Aggregated usage data retained for up to 14 months (GA4 default). No personal identifiers stored.
- Security logs: Retained by Cloudflare per their data retention policy.
- Contact submissions: Retained for up to 12 months, then deleted.
